Salary: $20.00 per hour

Accepting applications to develop an applicant pool of qualified candidates for a part-time, temporary, Figure Drawing Model (Artist's Model) position in the Fine Arts department.

This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Pose for fine art classes, to include a full range of poses and gestures.
  • Communicate effectively with faculty and students while working in classrooms.

General Duties

  • Pose for fine arts studio classes: figure drawing and, occasionally, painting and other drawing courses for sculpture.
  • Be able to provide a full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and the instructor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an artist's model or dance or theater experience.
  • Knowledge of how the model demonstrates anatomy, gesture, or content in a drawing.
  • Aware of classic and traditional poses in the art tradition.
  • Acceptance of the responsibility to promote the welfare and best interests of students at all times.
  • Demonstrates understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals and objectives of the college.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and goals of the institution and community college system.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and supporting a teaching, learning and working environment that honors diversity, equity and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an artist's model

Salary is $20.00 per hour.  Applications accepted until position is filled.  

This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week.  

Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment.
